The pope Adrian II

His Holiness Pope Adrian II (in Latin Hadrianus Secundus) is the Pope number 106 of the Catholic Church.

Adriano was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Adrian II initiated his pontificate in the year 867. He succeeded Pope Nicholas I. His papacy lasted for 5 years, ending during the year 872. He was succeeded by John VIII, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
