The pope Agapetus II

His Holiness Pope Agapetus II (in Latin Agapetus Secundus) is the Pope number 129 of the Catholic Church.

Agapito was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Agapetus II initiated his pontificate in the year 946. He succeeded Pope Marinus II. His papacy lasted for 9 years, ending during the year 955. He was succeeded by John XII, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
