His Holiness Pope Alexander VII (in Latin Alexander Septimus) is the Pope number 237 of the Catholic Church.

Fabio Chigi was born in Siena, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Alexander VII initiated his pontificate in the year 1655. He succeeded Pope Innocent X. His papacy lasted for 12 years, ending during the year 1667. He was succeeded by Clement IX, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
