His Holiness Pope Boniface IX (in Latin Bonifacius Nonus) is the Pope number 203 of the Catholic Church.

Pedro Tomacelli was born in Nápoles, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Boniface IX initiated his pontificate in the year 1389. He succeeded Pope Urban VI. His papacy lasted for 15 years, ending during the year 1404. He was succeeded by Innocent VII, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
