His Holiness Pope Clement VIII (in Latin Clemens Octavus) is the Pope number 231 of the Catholic Church.

The Holy Father Clement VIII initiated his pontificate in the year 1592. He succeeded Pope Innocent IX. His papacy lasted for 13 years, ending during the year 1605. He was succeeded by Leo XI, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
