His Holiness Pope Clement XII (in Latin Clemens Duodecimus) is the Pope number 246 of the Catholic Church.

Lorenzo Corsini was born in Florencia, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Clement XII initiated his pontificate in the year 1730. He succeeded Pope Benedict XIII. His papacy lasted for 10 years, ending during the year 1740. He was succeeded by Benedict XIV, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
