His Holiness Pope Clement XIV (in Latin Clemens Quartus Decimus) is the Pope number 249 of the Catholic Church.

Giovanni Vincente Antonio Ganganelli was born in Santarcángelo, Rímini, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Clement XIV initiated his pontificate in the year 1769. He succeeded Pope Clement XIII. His papacy lasted for 5 years, ending during the year 1774. He was succeeded by Pius VI, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
