The pope Eugene I

His Holiness Pope Eugene I (in Latin Eugenius) is the Pope number 75 of the Catholic Church.

Eugenio was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Eugene I initiated his pontificate in the year 654. He succeeded Pope Martin I. His papacy lasted for 3 years, ending during the year 657. He was succeeded by Vitalian, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
