The pope Fabian

His Holiness Pope Fabian (in Latin Fabianus) is the Pope number 20 of the Catholic Church.

was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Fabian initiated his pontificate in the year 236. He succeeded Pope Anterus. His papacy lasted for 14 years, ending during the year 250. He was succeeded by Cornelius, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
