The pope Gregory II

His Holiness Pope Gregory II (in Latin Gregorius Secundus) is the Pope number 89 of the Catholic Church.

Gregorio was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Gregory II initiated his pontificate in the year 715. He succeeded Pope Constantine. His papacy lasted for 16 years, ending during the year 731. He was succeeded by Gregory III, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
