His Holiness Pope Gregory IV (in Latin Gregorius Quartus) is the Pope number 101 of the Catholic Church.
Gregorio was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.
The Holy Father Gregory IV initiated his pontificate in the year 827. He succeeded Pope Valentine. His papacy lasted for 17 years, ending during the year 844. He was succeeded by Sergius II, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
