His Holiness Pope Hilarius (in Latin Hilarius) is the Pope number 46 of the Catholic Church.

was born in Cerdeña, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Hilarius initiated his pontificate in the year 461. He succeeded Pope Leo I. His papacy lasted for 7 years, ending during the year 468. He was succeeded by Simplicius, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
