The pope John IX

His Holiness Pope John IX (in Latin Ioannes Nonus) is the Pope number 116 of the Catholic Church.

Juan was born in Tívoli, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father John IX initiated his pontificate in the year 898. He succeeded Pope Theodore II. His papacy lasted for 2 years, ending during the year 900. He was succeeded by Benedict IV, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
