The pope John VIII

His Holiness Pope John VIII (in Latin Ioannes Octavus) is the Pope number 107 of the Catholic Church.

Juan was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father John VIII initiated his pontificate in the year 872. He succeeded Pope Adrian II. His papacy lasted for 10 years, ending during the year 882. He was succeeded by Marinus I, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
