His Holiness Pope Lucius III (in Latin Lucius Teritus) is the Pope number 171 of the Catholic Church.

Ubaldo Allucingoli was born in Luca, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Lucius III initiated his pontificate in the year 1181. He succeeded Pope Alexander III. His papacy lasted for 4 years, ending during the year 1185. He was succeeded by Urban III, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
