The pope Martin I

His Holiness Pope Martin I (in Latin Martinus) is the Pope number 74 of the Catholic Church.

Martín was born in Todi, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Martin I initiated his pontificate in the year 649. He succeeded Pope Theodore I. His papacy lasted for 5 years, ending during the year 654. He was succeeded by Eugene I, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
