The pope Paschal I

His Holiness Pope Paschal I (in Latin Paschalis) is the Pope number 98 of the Catholic Church.

Pascual was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Paschal I initiated his pontificate in the year 817. He succeeded Pope Stephen V. His papacy lasted for 7 years, ending during the year 824. He was succeeded by Eugene II, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
