His Holiness Pope Pius XII (in Latin Pius Duodecimus) is the Pope number 260 of the Catholic Church.

Eugenio Pacelli was born in Roma, in the current country of Italy.

The Holy Father Pius XII initiated his pontificate in the year 1939. He succeeded Pope Pius XI. His papacy lasted for 19 years, ending during the year 1958. He was succeeded by Blessed John XXIII, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
