The pope Theodore I

His Holiness Pope Theodore I (in Latin Theodorus) is the Pope number 73 of the Catholic Church.

Teodoro was born in Jerusalén, in the current country of Israel.

The Holy Father Theodore I initiated his pontificate in the year 642. He succeeded Pope John IV. His papacy lasted for 7 years, ending during the year 649. He was succeeded by Martin I, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
