The pope Gregory XI

His Holiness Pope Gregory XI (in Latin Gregorius Undecimus) is the Pope number 201 of the Catholic Church.

The Holy Father Gregory XI initiated his pontificate in the year 1370. He succeeded Pope Blessed Urban V. His papacy lasted for 8 years, ending during the year 1378. He was succeeded by Urban VI, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
