His Holiness Pope Gregory XIII (in Latin Gregorius Tertius Decimus) is the Pope number 226 of the Catholic Church.

The Holy Father Gregory XIII initiated his pontificate in the year 1572. He succeeded Pope Pius V. His papacy lasted for 13 years, ending during the year 1585. He was succeeded by Sixtus V, who would become the following bishop of Rome.
